Audley Harrison to get his first World title shot

The match up that most people do not want (apart from the UK television companies) between current WBA heavyweight champion Dave “Hayemaker” Haye 24-1 (22) and former Olympic champion Audley “A Force” Harrison 27-4 (20) is nearly a done deal.

In fact, a press conference has allegedly been called tomorrow where the fight will be made official. Respected boxing records website boxrec.com has already listed the bout as taking place on the 13th of December 2010 with the venue being listed as the MEN Arena in Manchester.

Sky tv are expected to televise the bout on its Pay per view Sky box office channel but it is very unlikely that the American television companies will follow suit.
