WBA heavyweight champion David Haye 25-1 (23) is convinced that he will fight Wladimir Klitschko 55-3 (49) and that it will happen soon.
The big punching, fast talking Brit today told Sky Sports that he was willing and able to fight the younger of the Ukranian brothers:
“From our side, we are raring to go. I am positive the fight will happen. As I have said before. I will retire next year, so this fight has to happen. It is a fight the World wants. It is the only fight the Klitschko’s can have to cement their legacy.” said Haye.
“Where? Wherever it makes the most money. Watching Amir Khan (in Vegas) has given me a real buzz. I want some of this. I would love to come out here and fight in a great arena and give everyone value for money. The talks have been very positive”.
“Wladimir has got no legacy. His brother Vitali can at least say he fought Lennox Lewis. Wladimir hasn’t even had one of those fights. The only opponent he can fight for his legacy is me”.
I think all boxing fans want to see this bout and lets hope it happens.
