The superfight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr, looks no closer to happening following Pacquiao’s narrow victory over Juan Manuel Marquez on the weekend. Mayweather’s handlers have come out and said Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum has said he has no interest in the Mayweather fight and has told them as much.
Arum has also confirmed it, saying Floyd can wait until November 2012. Arum plans to hold the fourth fight between Pacquiao-Marquez in either April or June of next year, at either the Dallas Cowboys stadium in Texas or a specially constructed outdoor venue in Las Vegas and then, should Pacman win, go on to face Mayweather later in the year.
