Hopkins vs Jones Jr II: April 3rd

Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones JrAfter 17 years Bernard Hopkins gets his chance at redemption as he takes on Roy Jones Jr on April 3 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nev. The bout will be broadcast live on Pay-Per-View beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

In an event entitled “The Rivals”, Hopkins gets a chance to have the last word on the Jones saga, a rivalry that has been ongoing for years ever since Roy’s victory over Hopkins in 1993 for the vacant IBF middleweight title.

The exceedingly popular Sky Prizefighter tournament once again returns to our screens on February 26th.

The weight division for the first time in Prizefighter history will be the light middleweight division.

The fight was an eliminator for the IBF super middleweight number 2 spot but it seems like Brinkley’s win may jump him straight into a bout with Romanian/ Canadian IBF champion Lucian Bute 25-0 (20).

Brinkley is promoted by Lets Get It On Promotions, run by legendary referee Mills Lane’s two sons and it seems they are on the verge of making the fight with Bute.
