After 17 years Bernard Hopkins gets his chance at redemption as he takes on Roy Jones Jr on April 3 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nev. The bout will be broadcast live on Pay-Per-View beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
In an event entitled “The Rivals”, Hopkins gets a chance to have the last word on the Jones saga, a rivalry that has been ongoing for years ever since Roy’s victory over Hopkins in 1993 for the vacant IBF middleweight title.

Jesse Brinkley 35-5 (22) boxed better than ever before when clearly outpointing favourite Curtis Stevens 21-3 (15) this past Friday night. The fight was an eliminator for the IBF super middleweight number 2 spot but it seems like Brinkley’s win may jump him straight into a bout with Romanian/ Canadian IBF champion Lucian Bute 25-0 (20).
