Re: Did Hagler have a great chin?
What kind of question is this? Did you ever see Hagler knocked out, dropped, hurt? Watch Hagler vs Hearns. Hearns nails him with some clean shots, and he just shook them off. Nobody just shakes off Hearns punches like that.
As to whether he's a brawler, that's a debatable term. He's definitely not a stick and move boxer, and not afraid of a fight. Yeah, maybe you could call him a brawler, but he's not a totally crude brawler. He's just a tough fighter.

Taking shots from Hearns and still be standing and moving forward should indicate how though and a bad mofo Hagler really was. Dude was the "Shaft" of boxing.

After watching Hagler Hearns it's hard to have any doubt about his chin. I wouldn't describe him as a brawler either. My interpretation of the word may be wrong but he was much more skilled than a brawler

His nickname "Marvelous", his bald head and his impressive musculature will forever remember. But Marvin Hagler was most impressive machine boxer who held the world title means for seven and a half years. The greatest champions of his generation bowed to the devastating power, before Sugar Ray Leonard does not find the solution.
