The heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (56-3, 49 KOs) will seek his 50th knockout against Jean Marc Mormeck (36-4, 22 KOs March 3 at Spirit Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany.

This is the fight that Wladimir wanted because it a recognizable name in the heavyweight division.
Unfortunately, it is a name associated with the light-heavyweight division when Mormeck was one of the best fighters of this division, JMM was the holder of the securities WBA and WBC light-heavyweight.

However, it was a few years ago and it has since 2007 when JMM Mormeck lost his title to David Haye by TKO.
This has been poor since then to Mormeck.
He stopped boxing two years, returned in trucks and won three consecutive questionable decisions at home in Paris.

The world bodies (WBO, IBF, WBA) were incredibly kind to him, giving a classification as Mormeck am: * 9 WBO, IBF and 9 * 10 * WBA despite three rather dubious decisions in the last three fights JMM in Paris .

Wladimir does not seem to care about the controversy of Mormeck wins.
This is a fight that will be lucky if he makes over six rounds.
Mormeck is short in size compared to Wladimir, Jean-Marc Mormeck will be exceeded by at least 10 more pounds on March 3.

Mormeck may have left the light-heavyweight division, but it is still physically closer to a light-heavyweight than a real truck.
Jean-Marc now fighting in the heavyweight division without really being assessed.
He jumps from a victory over Timur Ibragimov in a bout against Wladimir title on the line.

This is not the kind of fight you're looking for transition to prepare someone for a fight of this magnitude.

Mormeck would have rather have to fight with someone like Odlanier Solis before the battle of March 3.

I this is not important.
This is a mismatch (or rather a story) so when Wladimir will normally before him after his fight against Mormeck, Tony Thompson 40 years for revenge ...

Unless Jean-Marc Mormeck fight by KO before the deadline on March 3 Wladimir is all the good that I wish Jean-Marc.

Moorer I think you mean cruiserwight division, but I agree a very poor match up. Most notable win on JMM CV in recent years is Fres Oquendo who is nothing more than a sparring partner for Haye these days.

I think with Wlad you know he is always one punch away from losing to any guy over 200lbs who manages to land one decent shot on Wlad's chin.
