I read that and thought it was pretty awful. At least from the public eye, it seems like Lou did a lot for Paulie. I can only assume that there must be bitter feelings from their breakup. I think Lou wanted Paulie to consider retirement I'm sure. Out of all the promoters, I think Lou is one of the better ones. He actually cares about his fighters and seems to have closer relationships with them because his company is smaller.

As a huge fan of Paulie i was sad to see him leave DiBella he got him all the fights he wants...apart from the Khan fight(paulie made it on twitter) ...Hopefully Goldenboy will help Paulie get a bit of money before he retires and not use him as bait for young prospects...well not a start

I like Malignaggi as a fighter and thought that he ran a young Cotto close in their title fight. However Malignaggi is always after someone to blame.
He criticised Buddy McGirt for his training methods and that he made him a worse fighter and now it is DiBella's turn.
