BBC Sport Online presents an interactive guide to the mechanics of boxing.

The guide will explain the basics behind the punches used in boxing and the various styles of boxers.

For this guide, Sport Online has enlisted the help of Colin McMillan.

During his prime, McMillan was considered one of the foremost exponents of the ‘Sweet Science’ and provides a fascinating insight into one of the world’s oldest sports.
