Will the Super Six Bring Calzaghe Back?

Remember back not long ago... The 168 pound division looked stale and dried up just a couple years ago. Mikkel Kessler was the only worthy challenge. Calzaghe took that challenge and totally schooled the Viking.
Then he went to 175 for a couple retirement fights and is gone on to dancing nowadays.

In a recent interview he said he was done with boxing; that the fight against Roy Jones Jr was meant to be his grande finale.

BUT!

How can the man resist? In about a year from now, maybe less, the Super Six competition will be nigh unto completion... The most exciting event to hit boxing in years and years is this tournament, and it brings all kinds of new, top-tier competitors into the limelight...
Which of those guys, given the chance wouldn't fight Joe Calzaghe at the O2 Arena in his huge comeback bout?

If Froch wins it all, how can Joe stand it to see the guy who trash-talked him so much at the top?
If Kessler takes it, how can Joe stay away when he's already got the formula to beat him again?
If Taylor is the champ, how can Joe be not desire to "kill" another legend?
If Abraham does the job, or either Andre, how can Joe stay away knowing he out-throws those guys 3 or 4 to one, in every fight?

This is the absolutely most perfect thing that could ever happen to draw Joe Calzaghe out of retirement. It'll get him excited about boxing again, no doubt... And when the dancing game is finally put away, what else could he possibly do?

Sounds really good mate.

But the Tunier does not end bevore sommer 2011, and is Calzaghe then with 38 years and 2 years ring-traces not a little too old to come back?

Because of by the the time this is all over and done with I doubt it. Also it would depend on who wins it. If Kessler wins I don't think there would be a clamour for a rematch. A good technical first fight time but not a barnburner by any means. If by some miracle Taylor wins I don't see it happening either as he will always have that fragile look about him because of his stoppage losses. Abrahams or Froch wins, then it would big business in Europe. Unless one of the Andre's dominates the tournament and remains unbeaten then no chance there either because if an already established and unbeaten Dawson could not draw Joe into a fight in his preferred weight class then these guys won't either

Calzaghe did say that Froch beats Dirrell but that Kessler is the best.

If Froch wins the thing overall, and remains unbeaten in the process (highly improbable), then I guess it would be tempting for JC to come out of retirement for one last big payday, but even then, with a few years of ring inactivity and age catching up, would he want to put his mythical unbeaten record on the line and in grave jeopardy? Personally, I doubt it.

I'd love to see him come out of retirement and fight Froch provided he wins the tournament. Man, that would be so exciting I can just imagine the build up. I don't think it's impossible that he comes out of retirement, he must be tempted. What makes him any different to the fighters who retired and come back before?
