I watch Kirkland Laing vs Roberto Duran. I enjoyed it. I remembered it a bit wrong from before though- I had a picture of Kirkland just beating on Roberto for 10 rounds.... But looking at it again there was no question Kirkland was the winner, but Duran looked terribly out of sorts. A lot of Kirkland's stuff was pot shots or rapid fire which didn't do a lot of damage. He did hurt Roberto a bit with a couple of good shots though.
Go on the Gifted one.

I remember watching that live at a bar with friends on big screen. Funny when Duran entered the ring he looked soft and undertrained, but it wasn't concerning a bit. Duran often looked like that back then.
Sad what happended to Laing-has fallen on tough times. Still trying to find that piece Steve Bunce did with laing a couple of years ago.

I was dubbing Acelino Freitas versus Barry Jones from 1996 so decided to watch it and forgot what a good little fight it was.

I like this thread (even if I do say so myself- I'm sure it will inspire me to watch fights I otherwise might not bother to)
Watched two last night- Michael Carbajal vs Humberto Gonzalez I - A GREAT fight. I watched it lean too, and just got sucked in. Immnese!
Also watched Mark Breland vs Aaron Davis. Cracking scrap that one as well.

Watched Holyfield v Alex Stewart 1 last night-freakin love that fight. That was Evander peak 4 me. Look at his forearms-sick. Great exchanges and i love Stewart's aggression. Nice toe-to-toe exchanges and that tune Stewart comes out to in his ring entrance walk-love it! Old Skool Guvnor!

I still can't get over how totally out of gas Haye was after two rounds.
