David Haye v Nikolai Valuev Spoiler

Haye won the WBA title with a 12 rd MD win over Valuev. Fight was slow in parts and Haye almost KO'd Valuev in the dying seconds. HAye stated afterwards he hurt his right hand in rd 3. It was a left that hurt Valuev and not Hayemakers (hurt) right hand.

Haye can live with the big boys, has the stamina and power to test.

I had Valuev up by a couple of rounds.... but I don't care if it was a lucky decision, to get one in Germany is something else and if it was a 15 rounder I think Haye might have stopped him.

This is patriotism all over but

Hey Johnny, did you really have Valuev in front or were you just joking ? I have not seen a single round that Valuev really deserved. He just hit air. That´s not what i call effective aggressiveness. I was really surprised when i heard the scores. I would´nt have argued when they would´ve given Haye all the rounds.

How you doing bro?

I was scoring the rounds with a 'German bias' in mind, but I said before the bout (on a different site) that I don't think German scoring is as bad as the rep it has. If it had been in England, I would have had Haye ahead, but anything remotely close I was giving to Valuev. If it was an 'old skool' fight, Haye would have won handily, as he did on two of the cards

I was watching with a friend. who really hates Haye, cause of his arrogance and he wanted Valuev to knock him badly out, but even my friend was agreeing with me, that Haye should´ve won a clear decision. Maybe 1 or 2 rounds to Valuev, i would´nt have argued, but having this one a draw imo is criminal. You have to land to score points and Valuev landed not a single clean punch the whole fight. I´ve scored the fight 120:108 and so did my friend. I´m really surprised to read these postings about a close fight here and over there on boxingscene. I feel myself in a wrong kind of movie.

Hard fight to score.

Haye didnt work much , but Valuev cannot expect to win the round by walking forward throwing the odd jab that misses.

What rounds you could score went to Haye in my opinion,

But if Haye would have lost he would have only had himself to blame.

Very poor fight
