Espino was the perfect opponent for Pavlik - stationary and not much power. Even so, Kelly got hit way too much. I wasn't very impressed, and I'm a Pavlik fan.

That's Kelly Pavlik for you though, he's always been that way. It's also the reason I think he's exciting to watch. It's basically a shootout, Pavlik relies on his chin and determination to last long enough for him to put his power to use and KO the other fighter. It's the not the best style for a long, lengthy career, but it sure makes for exciting fights.

Yeah right woot, but with this performance he have in my eyes not big chances again a Fighter in a class form of Williiams or another Middleweight Fighter how Felix Sturm or something.
The next Nr.1 challenger (WBC) is now Sebastian Zbik with good technical skills, fast legs and a good "backing" that a important key again Kelly is.
Kelly is a great Fighter his Fights always exciting, but the performance now again Espino was not the greatest commendation for better bigger Fights/Fighter.

Not too shabby of a performance IMO considering the fact that Pavlik is coming off a 10-month layoff with serious hand issues, he did what he had to do, take out the opponent, and with time Pavlik should on course up the ante.

Pavlik made the fight much harder on himself by fighting on the inside with Espino but it made the fight very entertaining for 3 or so rounds, Espino showed that he wasn't there just for the payday, he gave it everything he had. Good fight.
