Less than two weeks after the fight appeared to be dead, a deal structure has been reached for IBF/WBO heavyweight chmapion Wladimir Klitschko to face David Haye on June 20 in Europes. The two sides were in a dispute over the site. Haye wanted the fight in New York's Madison Square Garden and Klitschko wanted the fight to take place in Europe, where both fighters have bigger names and can draw more money. In the end, both sides agreed to Europe.</p><p>Golden Boy Promotions CEO, Richard Schaefer, told <em>Doug Fischer of The Ring Online</em> that contracts have been exchanged and the fight is back on. HBO will televise.</p><p>&quot;Contracts have been exchanged and it looks like the fight is back on,&quot; Schaefer said. &quot;A deal structure has been reached and now it is a matter of working out the legal details.&quot;</p><p>Despite numerous reports of the fight landing in Klitschko's second home of Germany, Schaefer tells Fischer that nothing has been agreed upon and several possible sites are being expored.</p><p>&quot;Germany may be the frontrunner for the location but it hasn't been decided yet,&quot; Schaefer said.

Oh well, looks like the motorcityhitman will be booking flights on easyjet for some european outpost. I dont mind so long as they get it on. Dont think it will last long but will be a good fight while it does.

I am still convinced the fight will get cancelled tho. The Klitschko's have been changing their minds very 5 minutes. Not long ago they wanted Vitali to fight Haye in Stamford bridge (London) now they want Wlad to fight him in Germany

but that wasn't vitali's fault, the WBC wants him to defend his title first. but i think ur right. we'll just have to wait and see

I'll believe you about Vitali, but millions wouldn't lol. At the end of the day I just hope the fight happens with either of the brothers. Boxing and the heavyweight division needs some excitement now more than ever.

Hopefully this fight will happen, Haye will win and then fight Vitali, which will be one hell of a fight

I reckon a few of us fight franchise members should get tickets and go. Gotta be worth watching live ( subject to not being canceled )
