Re: Sam Peter vs. Eddie Chambers Fri
I go with Chambers and i really hope he proves me right. Eventhough he lacks the big punch, it´s a pleasure to watch him letting his hands go. If he has learned of the Povetkin-bout, there is no doubt in me, that he will have a relatively easy night with Peter. He´s just too smart and too fast. Peter is neither as fast as Povetkin nor does he have the same kind of workrate. If he cannot land the big punch, i do not see him doing the same as he did to Lightsout in their second fight. At this stage Chambers should be able to work more than James did. He just cannot allow himself to stop fighting after the 4th, as he did against Povetkin. Peter has hope to land the big punch and I hope the referee will keep a good eye on him with his rabbit punches. Eddie is very difficult to hit clean, but those rabbit punches could be a factor, if the ref is alllowing Sam to land them. If Peter has to fight clean it will be a frustrating night for him, i guess. Eddies defense is great.

Re: Sam Peter vs. Eddie Chambers Fri
For the record, I am no longer willing to place any faith in Sam Peter as a fighter. I believe him to be either hopelessly arrogant, hopelessly foolish or lacking in the smarts department. He has failed to demonstrate development commensurate to the years of hype we have been fed. He has demonstrated a lack of preparation, ring generalship, questionable heart and reckless arrogance - on more than one occasion. The comparisons his team made to an up and coming Tyson were highly suspect. Off of his quit-job and non-effort against Vitali Klitschko, ANY comparisons made to Kid Dynamite are uterlly ignorant and insulting.
Until such time that Peter actually does anything miraculous, beyond getting off of the deck with the likes of a Jameel McCline, I consider him to be nothing more than an overhyped product of marketing and a mere two losses away from obscurity.
I am going with his foe for this fight, clear on the fact that Eddie Chambers has not, to date, demonstrated the buffoonery of Peter, and as such, I am willing to extend a measure of "benefit of the doubt" to him as a prepared professional.
Chambers via decision.
