Olubamiwo exposed?
Heavyweight prospect Larry Olubamiwo was outpointed today by 16-20 Daniil Peretyatko. Daniil Peretyatko was stopped in his previous bout in the second round by Tyson Fury. Back to the drawing board for Olubamiwo I guess, but he has a very long way to go. I knew Larry had a limited amateur background but he appeared strong and powerful, if he was moved carefully he could have made some good money. So much for the carefully part!

Funny thing is though that big fat Peret isnt a bad fighter if he is allowed to get into a fight. He looks shocking with a massive belly but can box nicely.

As for Larry a stunning physique and power dont mean shit without a bit of ability.

Big man, but terrible technique. The guy looks like he has never had a street fight in his life let alone a Boxing match. He fight like he trying to get away from a punch when he is attacking. His hands go out and his chin goes up.

Larry is very good in his attiude but his boxing ability is lacking a bit, i hope he can bounch back from this set back and do well

Totally agree mate.

larry comes acros as a very genuine guy who knows his limitations but is eager to learn and improve.

He has no shortage of power but I would like to see him lose some of the bulky muscle mass and learn to box in a more relaxed manner..
