A master class from Klitschko... He doesn't just beat a guy up, he beats the very will to fight right out of his opponent...
Solid win over an undefeated challenger...
However - I think this fight showed a few things that Haye might do well to take note of
1 - Klitschko still doesn't have much defense with his hands. It's all foot speed. Chagaev was unable to cut off the ring, or was unwilling to try perhaps. But Wlad's hands aren't up when he's backing off.
2 - Klitschko still doesn't fight in combinations. His jab is the very definition of domination; but the man who is willing to walk through a couple jabs will land. Cause there's rarely a right hand behind it. And there's never a left hook after that.
3 - Klitschko is vulnerable to the double jab. That's the way inside. That's the way to overcome Wlad's footwork when backing off. That's the way to land the follow up straight right (or left).

I think the plan should be to fight like Chagaev for the first 3 rounds, sans the knockdown. Then change up the game plan in the fourth and really apply pressure. Walk through jabs; work the body on the clinches like crazy; and throw double jabs to put Wlad on his backfoot where his right won't have power and your own right can find a home.
Just my 2 cents though!
Nevertheless, I still think think Wlad did exactly what he had to do; no more no less... kudos for his long reign so far are due.

Last night was the 1st time i have ever thought of Klitschko sharing the ring with the greats, thats how goodhe was last night in my opinion.

However, he does still look terrified at times when his opponents rush at him and i am not sure his stamina is bulletproof. But he has become an absolute master at establishing the range and dictating a fight under his terms.

You can find more dominant performances than that, e.g. like a 1st or 2nd round knockout. But there can't be many fighters, at world championship level, that can go 9 rounds with a highly ranked opponent and take so few punches in reply.

The only hard punch Klitschko took in the fight was after the bell, and he barely blinked at it. This was a great performance. The man just makes everyone he fights look like a useless bum. I really don't see anyone beating him or his brother for the next few years.

Wlad still isn't very pleasing on the eye, but his style is very effective, he controls the fight with the jab and he is brilliant at controlling the range. Chagaev fought like an idiot though, he just stood infront of him and took a beating. Haye/Arreola are the guys i want to see him fight, both those guys really go on the offensive against Wlad and thats when he looks vulnerable.
