Martin Rogan looks set for a re-match with Commonwealth heavyweight champion Sam Sexton in Belfast in September.
Sexton clinched the Commonwealth belt by beating Rogan last month after a doctor ruled that the Belfast man was unfit to continue in the eighth round.
Rogan had Sexton in trouble on several occasions prior to the stoppage.
The Belfast fighter's trainer John Breen says contracts have been drawn up for a fight and that a bout is on the cards for the Odyssey Arena.
BBC Sport understands that mooted dates are Friday 11 September and Saturday 19 September....

Yes definately makes sense to have a rematch as Sexton was lucky not to have been stopped himself. Would be fair for Sexton to have home advantage this time but there was 10,000 last time in Belfast and that must add up to some big gate money!

Good, Rogan deserves one. I think he would have knocked Sexton out in the next round at the most had the fight not been stopped.

I know where you are coming from John but i arent so sure. Sexton will always have some success in the fight ( unless he gets knocked out in 1! ) purely and simply because he has the best jab in the uk heavyweight division.
