I hope Hopkins vs Jones gets made after Roy beats Lacy

Although I feel this fight would have been better 5 years ago...its better now than never. To me its the only fight that makes sense for both. Jones really doesnt have any big names after lacy and with Hopkins the Dawson fight will be boring ass hell. Hopkins-Jones will have a lot of build up and I see a lot of trash talking going on between the two.

And I think Hopkins was on ESPN last Friday saying he was fighting the winner of Dawson./johnson.

When was the last time B-Hop hurt anyone? When was his last KO? X may win but he isnt hurting anyone.

bhop hits a lot harder than calslappy. & anyways i didnt mean he was litterally gonna get hurt, just his pride lol. fight will never happen anyways unless sumhow bhop goes broke or something.

But yeah I see Roy putting a clinic on Lacy. People really underestimate just how good calzaghe is. I know for a fact he would run thru anyone in the SMW tourney with ease. So no shame in Roy loosing to him.

Also that is what makes the fight better between B-hop and Jones. Neither is gonna KO the other or overwhelm the other. Jones Kryptonite is aggressive volumn punchers which b-hop is not. Against slower paced fighters he still looks good...ala Trinidad, soon to be Lacy, Bika. B-hop is the same way. He only lost against taylor and calzaghe due to work rate. Neither Outboxed him just outworked him. Both still have their ring intelligent and knowledge of the game, so while both are physically not what they use to be, we will see a very highly skilled chess match.

yeah I was aware of that but while that more than likely wood happen, I rather see him vs jones as a retirement fight for both. How bout this...Dawson UD johnson, B-hop fights dawson...then next summer we see Jones vs Hopkins...both retire after the bout.

I think he beats Jones tho. So youre right his pride would be hurt.. Mine too.. Im a big Jones fan. :noob:

I think It was a clear robbery both times against Taylor. Against Calzaghe I got Joe the slight edge due to his higher work rate. Most were slaps that didnt hurt B-hop but bernard didnt do much on offense either.
