Ward was the strongest!

The winner of the Super Six is now known, the American Andre Ward (25-0, 13 KOs) defeated the English in points Carl Froch (28-2, 20 KOs) Saturday night at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Before the battle the undefeated American enjoyed the favors of the prognosis of a majority of observers as expected he posed insoluble problems for his opponent.
The first round is a moment of observation where there is great tension, the two men mark with some jabs. The second round starts on a pace set by Ward, unlike usual, the U.S. opted for a tactical offensive and managed to get ahead of the English, the precision of his left hook giving him the win that round. Debates s' animate then Froch trying to break into the custody of the U.S. held high. Not until the fifth round to see Carl Froch manage to touch his rival with a direct but left but failed to test him. Instead, Ward proceeds by small runs very fast in the face, often punctuated by an investment that is protected from adverse replicas, the tactics of the U.S. is not spectacular, but pretty darn effective, and Froch will be constantly frustrated by the tecchnico-sense tactics of young American who pays him seven years. At times, a few clashes of both sides of this struggle a bit dull also played a steady pace. Froch does not give up, yet again pass and he can not find a solution, the U.S. is superior in all areas. In the tenth round, the "cobra" is finally rewarded for his perseverance, he managed to hit Ward with his arm forward. Andre Ward seems to mark not physically at that time of the fight or he knows well in advance, Froch took the opportunity to win the eleventh round.

The twelfth and last round will not change a result obtained in a while, Froch is trying to rush his opponent and deliver a final last stand but Ward then use twine to prevent it. Andre Ward is finally declared the winner by unanimous vote of three judges: 118-110 for a two and 115-113 twice, no line on the face of combat. "I realized during the fight, that I might explode with one of his left hook, "said Ward. "I know he thought he could reach me with crochets.Un of my best assets is my mind. I kept my cool, I kept things under control. And we have succeeded" says Ward. "I hope I've done a good job. But we can still do better, believe it or not," concluded Ward. "You can extend credit to Andrew. I've never found in the position where I could deliver my shots and do what I wanted. It's something I'll have to work. It was better and won this fight, "said Froch.L 'American appropriates the title and WBC Super Middleweight of English, combined with his WBA title and his past victories can legitimately claim the unofficial title of best weight Super -way in the world. 2012 should bring us a splendid fight between the winner of the Super Six and taking WBC / WBA and IBF based Romanian Lucian Bute.

In another battle in the category of the Light Heavyweight American Cornelius White (18-1, 15 KKO) beat on points in six rounds the Cuban Yordanis Despaigne (9-2, 4 KO). The two boxers with similar qualities, fought a furious battle with blows of devastating hooks. In the third round, White has terribly abused the former star Cuban amateur and appeared to shorten the fight. The Cuban will recover well in the following rounds but lost heavily in points, unanimous decision :60-53, 59-55 twice.

In another welterweight boxer from the stable of Frank Warren, the promising English Kel Brook (26-0, 18 KO) was invited to the program. For his debut for United Etas he was confronted with the Puerto Rican Luis Galarza (17-3, 13 KOs) in ten rounds. The Sheffield boxer did not miss his performance as required by American referee stoppage in the fifth round. From the first moments of the fight, the young Englishman sets the tone: His jab is scathing, but his left hand is too low, Galarza touched with a straight face, Brook's reaction is not expected and a straight right the face he shook the Puerto Rican. In the following rounds Brook severely shaken his rival, he called before him and still suffers Galarza. The fifth round will be the last, in the middle of the ring of English sends a left hook and a straight face, he continues his action and punctuated by an acceleration of the two hands that feels hard Galarza, only the string where it is found sitting on hold and prevent it from slipping on the mat, Mr Allan Huggins wisely when the referee stops the match.

Finally in the Heavyweight Colombian Edison "Pantera" Miranda (35 -6, 30 KO) has demonstrated that he had always lightning in his fists in five rounds by destroying the Kenyan Kariz Kariuki (24-10-2, 19 KO). A left hook to the chin in the fifth round sent to the mat Kariuki, Pantera not let him go and gave him a series of both hands to the face that will encourage the referee to stop the fight.

Post Re: Ward was the strongest!

Ward won a unanimous judges' 118 _ 110 / 115-113 / 115-113

1st thing: ban on serving alcohol at the judges before the fight ... Two judges with a map of 115 to 113 of ward!! I do not know how they did it! I personally 119-110 in Ward ...

Ward is a surprising mix of Maywheater - Hopkins and John Ruiz
It was a pretty disappointing show master but from start to finish with a exellent techniquo - tactician ...
But for those who love the big war with shots that go across well WARD will frustrate you ...
It was the fight can be the most boring of a super 6 show perspective ... ...
But boxing is it not a sport before a show?

Bravo Ward ...

And stopped serving alcohol to the judges ..

Bravo a Ward...

Haha yeah those two judges were definitely drunk. As long as the right guy won it doesn't matter, but keep them away from title fights in future!

The reaction is plaisr Froch to do it honestly acknowledges a difference! The judges give 115-113 are zero! I see a 118-111 with a round zero damage that Ward is not panache, it's too smart and intelligent in the ring to take any risk ... However this could be detrimental during his career, he will struggle to be headlined by continuing to box in this way. The physics of Bute him little problems but I still see the American front, what frustrations of not having seen it before DIREL!
